Solo Lessons

Solo lessons allow students to take a deep dive into the world of Irish fiddle, with 1:1 feedback on technique, musicality, and performance elements.  Students enrolled in solo lessons will be expected to commit regular practice time to best explore their in-depth practice challenges. Students enrolled in solo lessons will receive our Fiddle Feedback service at no extra charge.

12 month solo lesson tuition is $100/month
9 month solo lesson tuition is $115/month

DUET LESSONS

Duet Lessons - Duet lessons allow students to take a deep dive into the world of Irish fiddle - with a friend!  With 1:2 feedback on technique, musicality, and performance elements, fiddlers also gain the experience of exploring harmonies, accompaniment and stage interactions with a peer.  Students enrolled in duet lessons will be expected to commit regular practice time to best explore their in-depth practice challenges.  

12 month duet lesson tuition is $60/month
9 month duet lesson tuition is $75/month

FIDDLE FEEDBACK

Fiddle Feedback - Our fiddle feedback program allows students to submit a short weekly practice video for 1:1 feedback from JAC staff.  Fiddle feedback students will have access to all digital materials (including our tune library and play-along fiddle recordings), and will receive individualized practice challenges as a part of their feedback.  This option is included in solo lesson tuition, but is an excellent add-on for students enrolled in duet lessons, PWYC group classes, or who wish to supplement a school orchestra program.
